Crawler excavators – The ideal choice for your worksite
As no two worksites are the same, Takeuchi’s crawler excavators also come in a variety of models, including the TB 2150 R C with mono boom mounted next to the cab; the TB 2150 R CV with offset boom mounted next to the cab; and the related TB 2150 C compact excavator with swinging drawbar and mono boom. More information about the TB 2150 C can be found here.
Crawler excavators – Safe, strong and sensitive
Our crawler excavators ensure particularly high levels of safety with an extra-strong dozer blade with ultra-high lift and float position. Despite their ruggedness and power, these machines deliver supreme sensitivity and consistent work speeds based on their total power control hydraulic system, even when multiple functions are operated simultaneously. The extra-broad fine-tuning range additionally enables high-precision control. It thus comes as no surprise that Takeuchi’s crawler excavators are highly appreciated by excavator operators!
Crawler excavators – Powerful and environmentally friendly
Our TB 2150 R CM and TB 2150 R CV crawler excavator models feature a powerful engine with common-rail system and 85 kW (115 hp) which delivers all the power you need at your worksite in an environmentally friendly package – including tier IV engine with AdBlue, DOC catalytic converter, active diesel particle filter and SCR for exhaust gas cleaning. Moreover, our crawler excavators are extremely efficient. To deliver maximum output capacity, simply select the PWR power mode (incidentally, this power mode is only needed for about 10% of typical excavator work). To keep wear to a minimum, we’ve come up with a special feature: operation in ECO mode and automatic speed reduction.
Crawler excavators – All the agility you’ve ever wanted
We aim to make efficient working as easy for you as possible. To achieve this, our crawler excavators come with four hydraulic auxiliary cycles for adding sophisticated attachments and are highly efficient in operation. Pressure and litre settings in auxiliary cycles 1, 2 and 4 can be individually adjusted. This quickly aligns the flow rate to the tools used, boosting the flexibility of the crawler excavator. The TB 2150 R CM and TB 2150 R CV models also come with two lift cylinders. In auxiliary cycle 1 you can adjust the pressure and litre settings for three different attachments, with an impressive maximum flow rate of 224/min in high-flow mode. A huge advantage which permits problem-free operation of high-flow hydraulic tools, such as asphalt milling and stump milling cutters and vibratory plates.
Crawler excavators – The reliable solutions
Workers who operate construction machinery for lifting loads and other strenuous activities daily know that worksites are the toughest environments for crawler excavators. The standard equipment of the TB 2150 R CM and TB 2150 R CV models takes this into full account. Pipe rupture valves and load-holding valves on the lifting cylinder and dipstick cylinder are all part of the standard equipment, as are further safety devices such as overload warning devices on the lifting cylinder according to EN 474-5:2006 + A2:2012 Earth-moving machinery – Safety.
Crawler excavators – Outstanding special features
The optional TAKLOCK quick-hitch system speeds up the pace at your worksite. The system allows you to connect and disconnect all attachments at once, saving you valuable time when attaching new hydraulic tools. The power shovel is the ideal addition to your range of scoops and buckets. This tool enables the crawler excavator to manage even the most challenging tasks with extreme precision. The hydraulic quick-hitch ensures perfect tool changes. It offers you absolute flexibility in use, with an operating range of 2 x 60° plus optimum manoeuvrability thanks to the original Powertilt attachment. Incidentally, you can also easily fit any other standard fully hydraulic quick-hitch systems!
Crawler excavators – The perfect workplace for excavator pros
If you perform heavy work at your worksite, you probably want to keep your work processes as simple as possible. Our crawler excavators and their convenient and ergonomic operating functions will convince you. Convenience was one of our priorities when we designed our
TB 2150 R CM and TB 2150 R CV compact excavator models. For example, we took care to ensure ergonomic arrangement of the joysticks and the integrated operating elements for auxiliary cycles. The proportional drive and control of auxiliary cycles 1, 2 and 4 and the hydraulically controlled levers support particularly sensitive and precise operation. This ensures zero backlash and smooth lever operation right from the start.
Crawler excavator – Your comfort zone at the worksite
Excavator operators who appreciate space will feel at home in the spacious, comfortable cabs of our crawler excavators. The cabs also offer excellent 360° visibility, starting with the elevated seat which enables you to take “far-sighted” action. And that’s far from all. The comfortable air-cushioned seat is adjustable to 6 positions and is heated for the ultimate in ergonomics and healthy sitting. What’s more, the operating panels move with the seat, ensuring you always maintain an ergonomic body posture. Another important feature is the automatic air-conditioning system with air recirculation. It creates ideal climatic conditions that support concentration. At the end of the day, the extra-wide entrance and exit make it easy for you to leave your crawler excavator. We’ve even thought of motivational music! Our compact excavator cabs are supplied complete with AM/FM radio with Bluetooth and AUX input for MP3 players. And there’s more. Behind the operator’s seat, there is space and a power outlet to connect a cool box, catering to the operators’ wellbeing in their compact “worksite offices”.
Crawler excavator – Everything under control at your worksite
Speed is of the essence at many worksites. Therefore, we have designed extra-large and clearly laid-out LCD displays for our crawler excavators, enabling you to check the machine’s operating status at a single glance. The display provides instant information about the various pressure and litre settings for the first, second and fourth auxiliary cycles. Incidentally, to make handling even simpler, we have optimised the LCD colour display. Day-and-night design delivers improved legibility and symbols in a display layout that is now even clearer and simpler. The rear-view camera and the extensive LED light package that are supplied as standard ensure you always have perfect 360° visibility.
Crawler excavators – With Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM)
Would you like to keep an eye on your crawler excavators at all times wherever you are – even while working in the office or on the move? No problem! All our models come with Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) as standard. This function enables you to check exactly where your machines are and keep up to date with their performance data and maintenance intervals remotely on your PC, tablet or smartphone at any time. This offers improved protection against misuse and theft, and supports optimum scheduling of logistics and services. And TFM can easily be retrofitted to older Takeuchi construction machinery!
Compact excavators – Takeuchi quality at its best
The crawler excavators – the “strongmen” among our construction machinery – are tailored to your needs as excavator operators: Our findings based on the demands of your everyday work are always incorporated into their concept and design. In addition, the typical Takeuchi design is synonymous with extra-long service life and extremely low operating costs.
In a nutshell, Takeuchi crawler excavators are ideal when the going gets tough at your worksite, but you still need a sensitive approach.
